My Lilacs

Our instructor at the Art Student League of Denver, Don Sahli, challenged us to paint lilacs. So I did.  Will submit to Arvada Guilds Art Show on Monday.  We'll see if it will make it.

Since everyone and their cat have their own blog, I thought I should at least try it out.  Don't know what will come out of it, if anything, but it might be a good spot to share thoughts and ideas with like minded people.  Or even not so like minded people!
I admire people that start something and then stick with it to see the results.  i often just try something and then abandon it.
I might share some of my struggles with painting, share stories of our learning how to sail, parenting, children's ministries, whatever comes to mind.
Anyhow, it's about 10:00 pm and time to start heading for bed.
